DualSense Edge stick drift FAQ

Can I replace a drifting DualSense Edge stick?

Yes. The Edge was designed with swappable stick modules, and Sony sells replacement modules separately. Run the test before and after swapping to see the difference.

Does the DualSense Edge work in the browser?

Yes. It is detected like a regular DualSense, with both sticks and all standard buttons. The extra back buttons may not be reported by every browser.

Is Edge stick drift covered by warranty?

Drift from normal use is usually treated as a hardware fault within the warranty period, but terms differ by country. Check Sony’s support site for your region; a result link from this test can help document the fault.
