PS5 stick drift FAQ

Can I test PS5 stick drift without a PC?

This tool needs a browser that can read the controller, so it works on a PC, Mac or Android phone (via USB-C/OTG or Bluetooth). The PS5 console browser can’t run it.

Does this work with the DualSense Edge?

Yes. The Edge shows up as a standard gamepad. See the DualSense Edge drift test page for tips on testing its swappable stick modules.

Is PS5 controller drift covered by warranty?

Drift caused by normal use is usually handled as a hardware fault within the manufacturer’s warranty period, but terms differ by country. Check Sony’s support site for your region and keep your test result link as evidence.
